The mission of Trojans Football is to develop young men who lead significant lives that

  • celebrate effort above ability

  • are selfless in their actions

  • will defend the cause of the oppressed.

Trojans Football is a cooperative effort between Elmwood High School and Brimfield High School.  The coop was formed in the early 1990's, and the program has been developing ever since.  Prior to that, Trojans Football was a product of Elmwood High School.

The football program has seen tremendous growth since the year 2000.  Eighteen of the program's thirty winning seasons came during this time, including the best regular season record in program history (9-0, 2011 and 2012), best overall record in program history (10-2), and seventeen of the program's twenty trips to the IHSA playoffs.  The The Trojans have won eight conference championships during that time.

Numerous improvements to the facilities and program have been made.  A new practice facility was built on EHS grounds.  Also, the playing field was leveled, crowned, and Kentucky Bluegrass sod was installed.  A new crow's nest includes a press box, boxes for each team, luxury box with proceeds benefiting Easter Seals and storage.  A new scoreboard has been installed.  The design of the varsity uniform was updated, and the distinctive Trojan logo was adopted.  An irrigation was installed thanks to generous community donations.  Also, an equipment trailer for the team was purchased as a result of the direct support of Trojans Football alums.  In addition, this web site was developed to provide information about the team (schedules, statistics, etc.) and highlight the accomplishments of Trojans Football players
